The Children’s Cabinet strategic plan for 2026-2023 takes a step back from the Early Childhood focused strategic plans of the past and broadens the plan to work towards Rhode Island’s collective mission and vision around supporting ALL children up to age 24. Children’s Budget

The Children’s Cabinet develops a comprehensive children’s budget each year. Since 2018, in partnership with the Office of Management and Budget, the Children’s Cabinet has undertaken a scan of all spending across Cabinet agencies to identify funds spent on children & youth by desired outcome area as defined in the Children’s Cabinet strategic plan.
